It was learned from Chenzhou Science and Technology Bureau that some new breakthroughs reached by high-tech enterprises after Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone was upgraded as national high-tech industrial zone.15 enterprises as Gospell. Yuxiang, Jinwang, and others were approved as national high-tech enterprises.

It was introduced that Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone was approved as national high-tech industrial zone by the State Council on February 5, 21015. It became an important platform for the opening up and technological innovation of Chenzhou city. Chenzhou City also took active actions to obtain the projects support from national and Hunan provincial planned projects that 15 projects were submitted to be national and Hunan provincial major scien-tech projects and Hunan provincial strategic new emerging industrial projects, and 4 centers were submitted to be Hunan provincial engineering and technological research centers. Chenzhou municipal scien-tech plans were followed the industrial development policies figured out by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government, which paid more supports on the industrial innovation chain and cultivation of industrial cluster.254 scien-tech planned projects were accepted by Chenzhou city, 27 of which were industry-university-research cooperation projects and 86 were major projects.

Chenzhou city also actively promoted high technologies to be applied in well-being projects. “application demonstration of health security for residents of heavy metals processing zone” was enrolled into the first batch of national favorable scien-tech plan. “Research and demonstration of key technologies for high efficient development of multi-metal base resources” which was handled by Shizhuyuan was listed into national scien-tech support projects. Till now, there are 67 high-tech enterprises available in Chenzhou city. In the first quarter of 2015, the total output value of Chenzhou city’s high-tech industries hit 23.18billion yuan, up 26.7%.
