240 Tons of Fruits and Vegetables to be Supplied to HK Every Day from 2015 by Chenzhou

Great achievements gained in 2014 China Chenzhou (HK) Ecological Vegetables Promotion Conference

 

It was reported that 2014 China Chenzhou (HK) Ecological Vegetables Promotion Conference was held in Chenzhou city from December 4 to 6, 2014. As the agreement reached on the conference, from January 1, 2015, at least 240tons of fruits and vegetables would be supplied to HK by Chenzhou city every day.

 

The promotion conference was sponsored by Chenzhou Government and Hunan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and was undertaken by Chenzhou Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade. An investment and trading contract was signed between HK Imported Vegetable Wholesale Chamber of Commerce and Chenzhou Changqingfa Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, Chenzhou city would sell 700million yuan vegetables and fruits to HK every year; both parties would place 90million yuan together on the construction of 3000mu high standard HK vegetables base and centers for selection, packing, assembling and delivery in Rucheng county. From now on, the vegetables and fruits produced in Chenzhou city are capable to sell to HK market directly instead of working with some agencies.

 

At the meantime, 6 agricultural products enterprises as Chenzhou Changqingfa Agricultural Development, Sanhe Qiaolong Ecological Agriculture, Huada Agricultural Technology, Yizhang Xiangxi Frozen Foods, Fupeng Industrial Development and Yuanfang Foods attended HK Asian Agricultural Products Exhibition held in HK International Convention and Exhibition Center. Series high quality agricultural products from Chenzhou city, such as high mountain vegetables, sweet oranges, navel oranges, goose livers, organic chickens, fermented bean curd, and etc. were exhibited on the exhibition, which attracted many professional wholesalers and merchants from HK and Macau. After some rounds of negotiation, some agreements were reached among the enterprises and merchants.
