Currently, two largest vegetable greenhouses of Chenzhou city which were invested by Vegetable Research Institution of Chenzhou Agricultural Bureau were finished. Once approved by relative departments, these two greenhouses located in the base of the institution would be placed into operation immediately.

The two greenhouses were covered with over one million yuan investment. Each greenhouse is capable to plant more than 5mu vegetables which would be mainly used for the cultivation of vegetable seedlings and other excellent vegetable species. Anti-rain, anti-wind and anti-cold measures are capable to be handled manually for the greenhouses. Furthermore, some micro facilities for the irrigation are available there. Because the vegetables planted in the greenhouse are quarantined from the exterior area, it is helpful to prevent the vegetables to be affected by the insects and control the spread of the diseases as well. On this point, the vegetables can be cultivated with less pesticides and can be pollution-free.
