It was learned from the working conference for the maintenance of highways that the fine rate for arterial and lateral highways of Chenzhou city was 97% and 88% respectively, ranking the top place of Hunan province.

It was introduced that the highway department of Chenzhou city kept being in the first phalanx of Hunan province for third consecutive years. From the beginning of this year, all the highway departments of Chenzhou city followed five development concepts to implement the strategy of improving overall transformation and upgrading and handle key work and some competition activities. Reconstruction of 15 dangers bridges, greening work of 933kms highways, upgrading work of 362kms rural roads, protection and maintenance work of 60kms highways, and repair work of 8.5kms highways were finished in the first 8 months of 2016.
