On April 13, workers were busy working at the construction site of the first-phase logistics hub core area of the Chenzhou International Land Port project.
The major structure of the economic building for the headquarters has been basically completed.
The first phase project plans to build seven half-train and one full-train loading-unloading sidings, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan and an area of 1,098 mu (73.2 hectares). It mainly focuses on the construction of a national second-level rail logistics base by dint of the China-Europe railway express and the “Hunan-Guangdong-Africa” rail-sea combined transport channel.
Meanwhile, supporting infrastructure will be built, including the headquarters economic high-rise, distribution center, container consolidation center, cross-border e-commerce trade exhibition hall, and information service platform.
The project aims to promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou City through the construction of a demonstration zone for international cooperation with the backing of the free trade zone and land port, a “Belt and Road” trade center, a production service-oriented national logistics hub, and an international distribution and transaction center for non-ferrous metals.
