It will be hosted by Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and Hunan Provincial People’s Government, and organized by Taiwan Affairs Office of Hunan Provincial People’s Government and Chenzhou Municipal People’s Government this year.

 

 

Since 2005, Xiangtan City has successfully held the conference twice, and Changsha City, Yiyang City, Hengyang City and Taipei City of Taiwan have also hosted it.

 

 

The event is a golden opportunity for Hunan and Taiwan to communicate and cooperate in economy, trade and culture area. It also concerns peaceful development of cross-strait relations.

 

 

Through this event, Chenzhou could show its achievements in economic and social development as well as its profound history and local customs. Furthermore, it provides the city with an opportunity to promote itself to Taiwanese, in order to attract more Taiwan businessmen to invest in Chenzhou. This occasion will nonetheless promote and further enhance its sound and rapid economic and social development.
