On March 11, the "vegetable basket" Work Office of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Area (GBA) announced the list of the 8th batch of "vegetable basket" production bases in the GBA. A total of 78 bases in our city were selected, and the new number ranked first in the country.

This time, 323 "vegetable basket" production bases (the 8th batch) in the GBA were identified. 78 bases including Zixing Mingting Ecological Yami Professional Cooperative, Sanhe Village Planting Base of Huatang Town, Beihu District, Ruixiang Fruit and Vegetable Planting Professional Cooperative of Suxian District, Tiejiaping area planting base of Wugaishan, Chenzhou, Biyuanyuan Vegetable Farmers Professional Cooperative of Lutang Town, Beihu District and lotus root base of Chenzhou Qihan Ecological Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. were selected.

Chenzhou City, as the nearest area of the whole province adjacent to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, gives full play to its regional advantages, connects with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and strives to build the "high-quality agricultural and sideline products base in the GBA".

In June 2019, Chenzhou Agricultural and Rural Bureau and Guangzhou Agricultural and Rural Bureau signed the "vegetable basket" construction cooperation framework agreement in the GBA, helping Chenzhou agricultural products sell in the area.

Li Jianxiang, head of rural industry development section of Chenzhou Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Area, introduced that on August 28, 2019, at the launch of the trial operation of the "vegetable basket" information platform in the GBA and the information conference of the production base identification list, the four enterprises， including Hunan Linwu Shunhua Duck Industry Development Co., Ltd., Xinxiang Agriculture Ecological Technology Co., Ltd., Chenzhou Zhanxiang Green Agriculture Co., Ltd. and Zixing Liangmei Xunlong Technology Development Co., Ltd. were identified as the first batch of "vegetable basket" production bases in the GBA.

By the end of 2019, the number of "vegetable basket" production bases in the GBA had increased to 6. By the end of 2020, the number had increased to 22. In this selection, our city accounted for nearly a quarter of the national quantity, and the number of "vegetable basket" production bases has achieved rapid growth. At present, there are 100 vegetable basket production bases in the GBA.
