The Innovation Center of the National Sustainable Development Demonstration Zone was officially established on the morning of May 27.

Since the construction of the Demonstration Zone was approved in May 2019, the city’s departments at all levels have implemented a series of projects, set up a number of demonstration zones, and transformed a great deal of technical achievements by closely following the theme of "sustainable utilization of water resources and green development". The construction of Demonstration Zone started from a high level and proceeded in an all-round way.

In order to boost the construction of the demonstration zone and the development of Chenzhou industry, the city has established an innovation center that integrates technology, talents and capital, with its focus on R&D, service and exchange so as to promote the transformation of technological achievements.

Located on the second floor of the civil administration center, the innovation center is composed of several parts: the Chenzhou Sub-market of Hunan Xiaoxiang Science and Technology Factors Market, Chenzhou Modern Sustainable Development Innovation Research Institute, Chenzhou Green Technology bank, Chenzhou Sub-center of Hunan International Low-carbon Technology Trading center, International Exchange Center and Exhibition Hall of Demonstration Zone.

10 projects were also signed on the same day, covering several fields such as credit, photovoltaic, talent training, technology introduction, etc., with a total contract amount of 75.53 billion yuan, including 73 billion yuan of credit granted by 4 banks and 2.53 billion yuan of strategic cooperation agreement.
