Linwu County signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on the Calcium Carbonate Industrial Agglomeration District Project with China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. Liu Yang, Party secretary of Linwu County, and Ren Shengchun, member of the Party Committee of CEEC attended the signing ceremony.

The construction of the calcium carbonate industrial agglomeration district is an integrated project involving calcium carbonate resources mining, powder processing, introduction of downstream industries and construction & operation of industrial agglomeration district.

With a total investment of 12 billion yuan, the project will be developed by the joint venture founded by the Green Building Materials Company under CEEC, China Gezhouba Group No.1 Engineering Co., Ltd., and local platform companies.

CEEC as a central and state-owned enterprise will play a leading role in building a green and sustainable calcium carbonate industrial agglomeration district that is standardized, large-scaled and intensive with high-end, functional and specialized products as well as green and low-carbon technologies. Linwu will be built into a national first-class base of calcium carbonate whole industry.

Liu Yang said that as one of the five industrial agglomeration districts, Linwu Calcium Carbonate Processing Industrial Agglomeration District has always adhered to the principle of green development and the development orientation of resource mining, intensive processing and whole industrial chain. It is hoped that the agreement signing will be a stepping stone toward more exchanges and cooperation, advancement of the agreement and mutual development. Linwu will provide total factor guarantees and all-round services to create a safe and sound development environment.
