Chenzhou signs 8 biomedical projects

Hunan Medical Products Administration and Chenzhou government signed a cooperation framework agreement on biomedical industry development on May 13, and a signing ceremony for eight biomedical projects worth 2.19 billion yuan was also held on the same day, including the digital and intelligent medical equipment industrial park of Derom Group and the neutral borosilicate pharmaceutical glass project of Kibing Group.
According to the agreement, the administration will provide such services as registration of bio-pharmaceutical enterprises and bio-pharmaceutical products, product transfer, change matters of enterprises and new product development for Chenzhou, and help build testing platforms for drugs, medical devices, cosmetics.
Centering on the development of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics, Chenzhou will build an innovative industry system with complete infrastructure and reasonable layout to support the construction of biomedical industrial parks and raw material planting bases for traditional Chinese medicine and cosmetics, so as to create a biomedical industry cluster in the mode of "park + base".
With a total investment of 500 million yuan, the digital and intelligent medical equipment industrial park of Derom Group will build a medical logistics park and a provincial innovation and entrepreneurship incubation center to strengthen the R&D of high-end medical devices and core components of large medical devices, and provide a third-party medical devices logistics service for local biomedical enterprises.
