Recently, the construction of Hunan-Guangdong Home Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Hi-tech Zone of Guiyang County was in full swing. This modern home industry chain cluster integrating R&D, production, display, sales and logistics is rising in Guiyang.
According to the characteristics of its own industrial structure, Guiyang County seeks cooperation with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in seven major industrial chains including home intelligent manufacturing, non-ferrous metals, electronic information, new materials, agricultural by-products, trade logistics, and cultural tourism.
Efforts have been made to extend, complement and strengthen the industrial chains, with more than 80% of the introduced projects from the Greater Bay Area.
As the only non-ferrous metal smelting and processing professional park in Hunan Province, Guiyang County Non-ferrous Science and Technology Industrial Park introduced a number of high-quality projects, gathering a large number of products from upstream and downstream enterprises and further reducing the comprehensive supporting costs.
At the same time, in order to expand the agricultural by-products processing industry, Guiyang County invested 260 million yuan to build the Furong Food Processing Park. There are now 22 food (pharmacy) processing enterprises in the park, linking with rice, oil tea, vegetable and other agricultural production bases of more than 400,000 mu (about 26,666.67 hectares) and driving more than 100,000 farmers to get rich.
Guiyang County is also building Guiyang High-tech Zone, Trade and Logistics Center, and modern service projects to extend the chains of electronic information, new materials, agricultural by-products, trade and logistics and cultural tourism.
Driven by seven major industrial chains, Guiyang County has seen steady economic development. Last year, the county completed a gross regional product of 41.313 billion yuan and is expected to increase by more than 8% this year.
