2023 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Investment & Financing Conference kicks off

The 2023 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Conference was held in Chenzhou City on September 17.

The conference is an important supporting event of the Second Hunan Tourism Development Conference. 340 key cultural and tourism investment projects in Hunan were launched at this conference, with a total investment of approximately 332.312 billion yuan and an investment and financing demand of approximately 241.996 billion yuan.
 
50 major provincial-level investment projects were signed with a total investment of 23.47 billion yuan, and 8 representative cultural and tourism projects were signed on the site.
 
13 cities and 1 prefecture, through investment promotion activities, have successfully signed 154 projects, with a total investment of 37.728 billion yuan, and introduced an investment of 31.941 billion yuan. Meanwhile, 94 projects are planned to be signed with a total investment of 45.954 billion yuan, and an investment of 43.1 billion yuan has been introduced.
 
A series of innovative financial products and typical cases were released at the conference. The relevant document on cultural and tourism consumption was issued jointly by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Changsha Bank, and Bank of Beijing Changsha Branch to advance high-quality development of the culture and tourism industry. 
 
The two banks will launch a series of financial products for the relevant enterprises on the list of 200 cultural and tourism enterprises in Hunan. And they will issue new loans of no less than 10 billion yuan in the next three years to support the innovative development of new scenarios for Hunan’s cultural and tourism consumption.
 
Financial institutions such as Changsha Bank and Agricultural Bank of China have released two innovative financial products for culture and tourism. 
 
Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has identified 12 “Typical Cases of Finance Promoting Cultural and Tourism Development in 2023”.
 
Besides, a contract for cultural, tourism, and financial cooperation was signed at the conference.
 
The GDP of Chenzhou City in 2022 was 298.05 billion yuan. Through the coordination and negotiation of the organizing committee of investment and financing conference, the People’s Government of Chenzhou City has reached strategic cooperation with 17 financial institutions, including the Hunan Branch of the National Development Bank, the Hunan Branch of the Agricultural Development Bank, and the Hunan Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. In the next 3 to 5 years, a credit of 457 billion yuan will be granted to support the development of the cultural and tourism industry in Chenzhou.
 
Relevant financial institutions provided 27.6951 billion yuan of loans for key cultural and tourism industry projects in Hunan. Representatives of 12 projects signed financial loan agreements with financial institutions on the site.  
 
Five institutions, including Hunan Guoling Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., Hunan Global Tourism Industry Investment Master Fund, Chenzhou Cultural Tourism Development Investment Group, Chenzhou Industry Guidance Fund, and Chenzhou Xintian Investment Co., Ltd., have established the “Chenzhou Cultural Tourism Industry Development Fund” to provide long-term financial support and strategic resources for enterprise innovation and development.
