On the morning of December 25, the first phase of copper based new materials project of Chenzhou Zhengwei New Materials Science and Technology City was officially put into operation. Xie Jianhui, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, announced that the project was put into operation. Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Wang Wenyin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhengwei International Group, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zhengwei International Group, and Wu Guanyi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Global Resources Group and Investment Committee of Zhengwei International Group, attended the ceremony.

Chenzhou Zhengwei New Material Science and Technology City copper based new material phase I project will produce 100000 tons of precision copper rod with an output value of nearly 6 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it will fill the blank of new copper based materials in Hunan, extend the non-ferrous metal industry chain in Chenzhou, enhance the value chain, and inject new energy into the high-quality development of Chenzhou.

Yi Pengfei said that the first phase of copper based new materials of Chenzhou Zhengwei New Materials Science and Technology City was officially put into operation, which marks the real settlement of the world's top 500 entity enterprises in Chenzhou. It is of epoch-making significance in the introduction and settlement of Chenzhou entity enterprises, plays a benchmarking role in promoting Chenzhou's industrial transformation and upgrading, has a demonstration and driving effect on Chenzhou's recruitment of large and powerful enterprises, and will also add new momentum to expand its development of Zhengwei Group.

It is hoped that on the basis of promoting the first phase of copper based new materials to achieve production and efficiency as soon as possible, Zhengwei Group will ensure the follow-up investment and project construction in time, and strive to build a new material science and technology city with an annual output value of more than 50 billion yuan during the "14th Five-year Plan". The whole city, especially Chenzhou High-tech Zone and Suxian District, should take full care of and support the construction and development of Chenzhou Zhengwei New Material Science and Technology City, make joint efforts to build Chenzhou Zhengwei New Material Science and Technology City into an important support and highlight for the high-quality development of Chenzhou High-tech Zone, and build it into a new city with strong visual impact and development vitality of Chenzhou High-tech Zone and even the whole Chenzhou.

He said that Chenzhou, the "Hometown of Nonferrous Metals" and Zhengwei, the "King of Nonferrous Metals in the World", have created new sparks and become a classic case of win-win cooperation. Zhengwei, an industrial "tree", will take root in Chenzhou, build an "industrial forest", change Chenzhou's "industrial climate", and make new and greater contributions to Chenzhou's "14th Five-year Plan" development.

After the ceremony, Xie Jianhui and his party also visited the manufacturing process of some products and production lines of phase I copper based new materials project of Chenzhou Zhengwei New Materials Science and Technology City.
