On February 28, the 500 KV transmission project of Liyujiang Power Plant of Hunan China Resources Co., Ltd. was fully started, and the first batch of tower materials were transported to Liyujiang Town of Zixing City, marking that the key construction project of this province has entered the construction peak. The project is a landmark project for Hunan to implement the "three high and four new" strategy to provide power guarantee. The first phase of the project is planned to be put into operation before June 30. After the completion of the project, Liyujiang Power Plant will flexibly supply power to Hunan, effectively improve the structure of southern Hunan power grid, and fully guarantee that Hunan will face the peak summer this year.
Liyujiang Power Plant, located in Liyujiang Town, Zixing City, is the southernmost power support point of central China power grid. It was built in the mid-1950s and has undergone four phases of expansion. As a "west to east power transmission" project, Liyujiang Power Plant will mainly transmit power to Guangdong after its expansion and commissioning.
The 500 KV transmission project of Liyujiang Power Plant is an important and urgent project to provide sufficient power guarantee for the whole province and strengthen the grid structure of Hunan power grid. It is planned to invest 130 million yuan and put into operation by the end of the year, which will realize the 1.38 million KW power transfer of Liyujiang Power Plant to Hunan. The first phase project is planned to put into operation before June 30, and will transfer 660000 KW power to Hunan power grid to ease the burden of industrial transfer in southern Hunan and improve the rapid growth of electricity consumption in the demonstration area.
According to the introduction, the project starts from Liyujiang Power Plant and ends at the 500KV substation in Chenzhou East to be built. The total length of double circuit line is about 28 km, and 84 new tower bases are built.
