In order to accelerate the construction of Chenzhou Vocational Education City and its public supporting projects (hereinafter referred to as "Vocational Education City"), on April 24, the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning organized the expert technical review meeting of "Chenzhou Vocational Education City and its public supporting projects conceptual planning", "Chenzhou Vocational Education City and its public supporting projects land use preliminary review and planning site selection demonstration report", and passed the "Chenzhou Vocational Education City and its public supporting project conceptual planning" and "Chenzhou Vocational Education City and its public supporting project land pre examination and planning site selection demonstration report" in principle.

In order to solve the construction land problem of the vocational education city and its public supporting projects, accelerate the construction of the Vocational Education City, promote the resumption of work and production, and promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou, Li Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the Suxian District Party committee and deputy head of the Suxian District, organized a coordination meeting on the revision of the general land use planning (2006-2020) (revised in 2016) of the vocational education city. The Vocational Education City project is a key investment project of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government. The project covers an area of 3300 mu, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, of which 1000 mu is involved in the adjustment of soil planning.

The project team of the Municipal Planning and Design Institute made a detailed report on the background of the planning project, the policy basis, and the basic situation involving the adjustment of the soil planning of each township. The meeting unanimously adopted the preliminary plan for the adjustment of the soil planning of the Vocational Education City, and also put forward specific amendments and supplementary opinions.
