The 4th CMGS will be opened soon. In the morning of May 17, 2016, Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City visited the exhibition center to check relative work.

Yi Pengfei and Qu Hai visited South Hunan Geological Resource Museum, Chenzhou Convention and Exhibition Center, Gem Street of Chenzhou Sports Center, World’s Non-ferrous Metals Museum of Chenzhou High-tech Zone, Shizhuyuan National Mine Park Museum, and other sites and checked their work on investment attraction, exhibition arrangement, security, and etc. Currently, most of the exhibits have been displayed as required and the preparatory work was proceeded to final stage.

Varied mineral gems were displayed on South Hunan Geological Resource Museum; foreign exhibitors from the USA, Germany, Australia, Canada, and other countries were working on the arrangement of exhibits. Yi Pengfei said the exhibition arrangement work should be handled better on the basis of experience gained from last year, as well as new concepts.

Besides the boutique showcases, trading center of decoration mineral gems was set on Gem Street of Chenzhou Sports Center as well, which is helpful to integrate the display and trading of mineral gems together. On the exchange center of Shizhuyuan National Mine Park Museum, a large number of local mineral crystals with elegant packings attracted visitors’ attention for its reasonable price and good collecting value. Yi Pengfei highly affirmed their work and stated that the display of mineral crystals should be combined together with popularization of science and tourism market, and then form industrial chain and upgrade the commercial value of exhibition accordingly.

Yi Pengfei emphasized that more details should be further perfected, such as visiting routes, guests reception, events, and etc.; the security work should be enhanced, as well as peripheral control to grant the show with safe and stable condition; specified responsibility mechanism should be carried out to maximize the achievements of investment attraction, handle reception work, enhance coordination among departments, and upgrade service level.

Yi stated that the trading market of mineral gems should be improved on the basis of law of market and suggestions collected from all parties, and then the industrial chain of CMGS would be further extended to promote Chenzhou economic and social development.

Qu Hai stated that the reasonable suggestions proposed by the exhibitors of last show should be well studied to upgrade the preparatory work of this show. All the exhibition arrangement work should be handled out with the standards of international exhibitions, especially on the Chinese-English interpretation. More professional staffs should be deployed to introduce the knowledges of mineral gems to visitors. The trading and consumption volume should be enlarged and more derivative products suitable for exhibitors and visitors should be developed. The exhibition halls should be displayed with their unique features to reach differentiation development.
