Chen Xiangqun Meets Foreign Guests
It was reported that the 4th China (Hunan) International Mineral Gem Show (CMGS) was opened in Chenzhou city on May 19, 2016. Chen Xiangqun- Member of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and First Deputy Governor of Hunan Province met some foreign guests such as Lebohang Ntsinyi- Lasotho Ambassador who attended the show before the opening ceremony.
Xiang Lili- Secretary-general of Hunan Government hosted the ceremony, Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee made a speech on the ceremony, Chen Zhongbo- Secretary-general of Hunan Government, Fang Xianzhi- Director of Hunan Department of Land & Resource, Xiao Bailing- Director of Hunan Foreign Affairs Office, and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the interview.
Chen Xiangqun expressed his warm greetings to all the foreign guests and introduced them with economic and social development condition of Hunan province as well. Chen stated that great achievements were gained on equipment manufacturing, culture, service, high-tech industry, and etc. during “12th five-year plan” period in Hunan province. Chenzhou city is beautiful and livable. As the “south gate” of Hunan province, Chenzhou city is the important bridge head of Hunan province for the connection with costal economic belt, as well as the important new materials base. Along with the fixation of CMGS in Chenzhou city and improvement of mineral resources processing and international exhibition economy, the CMGS will become a more important platform for Hunan province further opening up. Chen hoped that closer cooperation can be reached between foreign enterprises and Chenzhou city via this show and the show can be improved by the parties as well.
Lebohang Ntsinyi delivered a speech on behalf of all the foreign guests. She was grateful for attending this show and said it was her fifth visit to Hunan province as well as twice visit to Chenzhou city. Hunan province was similar as her second hometown. As stated by Lebohang that Africa is with rich mineral resources, but most haven’t been exploited. The CMGS is a good platform for mutual communication, so she hoped they can learn more advanced technologies and find some good partners via this show, and then explore the mineral resources of Africa together and bring more benefits to Africans.
