The press conference for 4th China (Hunan) International Mineral Gem Show was held in Beijing People’s Hall on April 8, 2016. As stated on by the organization commission that the 2016 4th CMGS will be held in Chenzhou city from May 19-23, 2016. Besides 5 expedition routes and 6 highlights as ecommerce presented for the show, abundant national level treasures of the world as 26-ton native bronze crystal which is the treasure of Collector's Edge Minerals, flower shape tourmaline which is produced in Brazil, and the largest calcite single crystal of the world will be shown in Chenzhou city.

China (Hunan) International Mineral and Gem Show which is the largest professional mineral and gem show of Asia is sponsored by Hunan Government and the Ministry of Land and Resources and undertaken by Hunan Land and Resource Department and Chenzhou Government.

It was greatly restful for the 3rd mineral show held in Chenzhou city in last year that two indexes as visitors and trading volume hit 380,000 person-time and 1.6billion yuan respectively and more than 300 international exhibitors from 85 countries were attracted to attend the show. Its influence is competitive to the United States Tucson Show and Germany Munich Show.

On above points, the show was confirmed to be fixed in Chenzhou city permanently on Hunan executive meeting.

5 expedition routes for you to enjoy treasure hunting trips

Besides the main hall (core hall) of Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, three sub-halls are set in Non-ferrous Metals Museum of Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park, Chenzhou Shizhuyuan Mineral Crystal Museum, and Chenzhou Geological Science Museum. 130,000square meters exhibition areas are planned to be set for the show, including 2300 international standard stands and dividing into 8 zones as dinosaur and Danxia greeting zone, boutique mineral crystal zone, fossil and meteorite zone, boutique gem zone, jewelry and jade zone, decoration stone zone, root carving zone, and etc.

During the show, some events as international mineral peak forum which mainly concerned for the mineral gem & human culture, mineral fossil & human life, mineral gem & internet, and etc. will be held as well. Some celebrities in China and abroad, top level collectors, scientific and industrial leaders, and famous exhibitors will be invited to attend show and share their latest achievements, technologies, and mine types with each other. Series of lectures as appreciation, collection, and photography of mineral gems and fossils will be held there as well to enhance the communication of global resources, technologies, and culture, and then promote the sustainable development of the industry. 2. Flower shape tourmaline which is produced in Brazil. Generally speaking, the tourmaline is shaped columnar, so such kind of flower shape treasure is rare.

3. One of the largest opals of the world which is produced in Australia. Dark blue.

4. The largest calcite single crystal of the world which is produced in Yunnan. Because it looks like the flower of Hunan- hibiscus, Hunan people called it as “hibiscus”.

5. The largest aquamarine of China which is produced in 5000meters high peak of Sichuan province. It is blue and transparent.
