To further promote the double reduction policy and all-round education, Rucheng County Furong school in Chenzhou city has held a series of educational activities in March.
A picture taken at the school gate shows that students standing in a row greet their teachers and classmates. This is to encourage all the students to develop a good habit of learning, understanding and practicing the etiquette and carry forward the traditional virtues.
At the advent of International Women’s Day, the school integrated gratitude education into the after-class activities: students of middle and lower grades expressed their gratitude to their mothers with songs, hand-made greeting cards and dance. Senior students told stories between them and their teachers and mothers in writing. This is how the school boost quality-oriented and thanksgiving education.
A variety of efforts such as campus broadcast, LED screen, thematic class meeting, bulletin boards, hand-copied newspaper and speech under the national flag have been made to promote the spirit of Lei Feng and create new fashions in the school.
In addition, volunteers in the school were led by their teachers to clean the surrounding areas of the school, which not only reduced the workload of cleaners, but also contributed to building a clean, beautiful and civilized county.
Given that a number of warm-hearted deeds and pioneers emerged through the activities, the school organized a summary & commendation ceremony on April 1, where prizes were given to both advanced teachers and students.
In the future, Rucheng County Furong School will keep in mind the educational mission of fostering virtue through education and put the policy of all-round education and double reduction into practice.
