It was reported that the first stage of 2014 Trans-China International Cycling was opened in Xi’an Space Field in Qujiang district of Xi’an city on August 30, 2014. After two-hour competition in rain, Piotr Bernas who was from BDC Marcpol won the first place.
Trans-China Cycling was launched in China in 2010. It covered 11 provinces and direct-controlled municipalities in last four years. Over 50million audience witnessed its development. It became the fourth biggest international cycling competition of the world and the top one of Asia on the consideration of its cycling days. The top three one cycling competitions of the world are Trans- French, Trans-Spain and Trans-Italy.
145 athletes from 22 professional cycling teams attended this Trans-China Cycling game. 11 teams are from European countries, 9 are Asian and 2 are American.
Once finished two-day city cycling competition, it will proceed to Sichuan province and follow a trip to Pengzhou and Dayi, then stop at Banan of Chongqing city as the end of the first stage competition.
After a short rest, the second stage competition will be carried out in Hunan province at the beginning. Xinning of Shaoyang and Jiahe of Chenzhou are the two battle fields in Hunan province. Once finished the two, it will proceed to Hubei province and finish three competitions in Wuhan, Xiangyang and Laohekou. Then it will start its final competition in Tianjing city.
