The preparation work for 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show steps to the sprint

Mobilization meeting for the sprint stage of preparation work for 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show was held in Chenzhou city on May 12, 2015.

It was reported that a mobilization meeting for the sprint stage of preparation work for 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show was held in Chenzhou city on May 12, 2015. Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee delivered an important speech at the meeting, He required all departments should try all efforts to work for the preparation work of the mineral show in the final 10days of sprint. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the meeting and addressed an important speech there.
It was learned from the meeting that all preparation work were being promoted well currently. Investment attraction work has been fully completed. 85 foreign exhibitors booked 300 international stands. Investment attraction work for 1300 domestic stands was fulfilled as well. All the stands set in Chenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center were booked out. Both the quantity of stands and foreign exhibitors were more than last two times of the mineral show. The construction work for exhibition halls was proceeded to final stage.

Upgrading for the exterior greening, infrastructure construction for the interior halls, exhibition arrangement, and other work for Chenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center- the core exhibition hall of the mineral show have been finished. Concerned for the three sub-halls- High-tech Industrial Zone’s Non-ferrous Metals Museum, Shizhuyuan National Mine Park Museum, and Chenzhou Geological Resource Museum, all were promoted to the exhibition arrangement step. According to the time schedule, the opening ceremony of the mineral show would be held on May 21, 2015. Some other activities as collectors’ saloon, students day, visitors treasure hunting, presentation of exhibition book collection, annual meeting for the decoration stones of eight provinces of Lingnan, and etc, would be held during the mineral show. Furthermore, five scientific investigation routes as Shizhuyuan National Mine Park, Hunan Baoshan International Mine Park, Feitianshan International Geological Park, Wanhuayan and Dongjiang Lake were enrolled into the plan as well.

Yi stated that all departments should consider the mineral show as a historic chance to upgrade Chenzhou city’s image, expand its opening up, promote its influence and improve its internationalization and modernization; and as a significant strategic measure to improve the exhibition economy, accelerate the construction of regional logistic node city and logistic distribution center, promote the development of modern logistics, cultural tourism and fitness industry, and upgrade the quality and efficiency of resource-oriented industry. All were purposely to improve the extension of industrial chain, added value and sustainable development of the resource-oriented industry, and improve Chenzhou city’s development to be upgraded to a higher level.

Yi Pengfei emphasized on the sprint stage, all relative departments should try great efforts to fulfill the preparation work and follow the time schedule and responsibility system to perfect the work and ensure the mineral show to be handled out with new breakthroughs, Chenzhou features and Chenzhou level.

Yi Pengfei required all departments should follow the unified scheduling figured out by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Chenzhou Government and organization committee of the mineral show and took active actions to serve for the mineral show. Behaviors which badly affected the operation of the mineral show would be traced the accountability. It would be a great present for 20years anniversary of Chenzhou city to handle the mineral show successfully.

Qu Hai stated that there are “three features” for this mineral show- high level, large scale and wide range. The mineral show is not only the platform for the mineral economy business, but also an important window to upgrade non-ferrous metals culture, and even a valuable base of popularity of science and important resource for further development of Chenzhou city.
Qu required that all cadres and people should well play their roles as the host, volunteer and image ambassador to serve for the mineral show. All departments should work together to ensure all work for the mineral show to be handled out perfectly.
