“Mountain, water, homesickness”, rural tourism is becoming more popular in recent years for its beautiful natural beauties.

It was learned from the promotion conference of Chenzhou tourism cultural industry, in order to popularize 2016 Hunan Chenzhou National Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival & 1st Beautiful Rural Tourism Festival which will be held in late September, improve the development of rural tourism, and upgrade rural tourism brand, the selection of most beautiful rural tourism destination of Chenzhou city would be held in Chenzhou city.

It was introduced that this selection event was sponsored by Chenzhou Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau and Chenzhou Agricultural Commission and undertaken by Chenzhou Xinbao. Chenzhou Daily Group and some other media resources as newspaper, Wechat, Weibo, headlines, and etc. would be used for popularizing the event as well. The selection event will be held from this July –September. Final 10 “most beautiful rural tourism destinations”, 10 “most delicious rural dishes”, and 10 “most beautiful rural roads” would be selected out via online selection and experts’ selection.

It was learned that villages, villas, rural inns, agricultural bases, and etc. were covered into the range of selection of “10 most beautiful rural tourism destinations”. Its selection standards are “characteristic, popular, facilities, sanitary, and hospitality” and grading standards of Hunan provincial leisure villa (rural inns), and etc. Regional characteristic dishes, snacks, and products were covered into the selection of “10 most delicious rural dishes”. Its selection standards are “regional characteristic, popular, sanitary, delicious”, and etc. The selection standards for “most beautiful rural roads” are “characteristic, beautiful, clear marks, facilities”, and etc.

The registration time is from July 1- 15, 2016 by self-introduction and recommendation. Concerned for self-introduction, the application forms can be submitted to local tourism bureaus (media groups) and tourism service centers or online. The organization committee would handle the review and preliminary selection.

The preliminary selected rural tourism destinations, rural dishes, and rural tourism roads would be posted publicly on the official website of Chenzhou Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau, Chenzhou Xinbao and its public Wechat. The online selection channel would be opened to public accordingly.

In the late September, all the results would be selects and presented with relative rewards and popularized on Chenzhou Xinbao.
