2012 11th China Hunan International Tourism Festival & 2nd China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Festival will be started within one month, in order to check Chenzhou’s preparation work for the festival, Wang Guangming- Deputy Secretary General of Hunan Government and Yang guangrong- Director of Huanan Tourism Bureau led the inspection team to Chenzhou and held an on-site joint meeting there.

Till now, all the preparation work for the launching ceremony of 2012 11th China Hunan International Tourism Festival is making steady progress, for example, alliance of one spring, one lake and one river is fully carried out; performance contracts are signed with the main actors of the launching ceremony and its music is under composing; the propaganda work is arranged by well communicating with medias for the launching ceremony ads; festival brochures are published to enhance the understanding of citizen civilization and form a good atmosphere of festival; 17 infrastructure projects are carried out well; 700 million yuan investment are finished in Zixing; and the retreatment for urban and rural environment projects are being deeply carried out.

The investigation team visited Huatian hotel, Xiongseng hotel, Omiga hotel, Dongjiangwan main venue of the festival, and other places as well for better understanding of the preparation work. In the following on-site joint meeting, Hunan province, Chenzhou city and Zixing city governments communicated with each other for the festival. The investigation team highly affirmed Chenzhou’s preparation work and required that Chenzhou government take this festival seriously to show the unique characters to public and attract more public attention to Chenzhou city. Meanwhile, all the departments need work together to share the effort and responsibility to the festival’s work. The key point for the preparation work should be focused on the launching ceremony by showing to the world the “aqua” element of Dongjianghu Lake and the most beautiful aspect of Chenzhou.

Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee- Mao Tengfei hosted the meeting. Liu Miansong- Deputy Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau, Bu Yuehui and Shangbin- Deputy Inspector of Hunan Tourism Bureau, and Chenzhou municipal leaders- Zhou Yingchun and Li Ting were presented at the meeting.
