It was learned from Hunan Cultural Ministry that “Beauty in water and moon” selected by Chenzhou government was awarded with the golden medal at the 4th Hunan art festival. It was an exclusive work with such a prize among all other works selected by Chenzhou government.

Wang Zhou and Ouyang Jianhua wrote the lyrics for “Beauty in water and moon”, which was composed by the famous musician Deng Dongyuan. It is also the theme song for 2012 Chenzhou international tourism festival. In order to popularize this song, Beihu district of Chenzhou city took different measures, like promoting it as the key song in the 9th “Summer of Beihu” music week and 6th Chenzhou art festival. With all the efforts from the district, now this song is well-known to Chenzhou people. Its popularization not only helps to enrich people’s cultural life, but also upgrade Chenzhou’s fame as “city in the forest & leisure city”.
