Lianxi Academy
Lianxi Academy in Ailian Lake Scenic Area was renovated in 2022, with its decoration elements such as cornices and wood carvings full of characteristic southern Hunan architectural art.
Among them, the first floor of the academy is themed around Zhou Dunyi, the founder of Neo Confucianism, and showcases the life of Zhou Dunyi and the origins of Neo Confucianism.

Chenzhou Museum
Chenzhou Museum is a national second-class museum, with a total area of about 12,000 square meters. The architectural design is inspired by the rich and diverse mineral crystals in Chenzhou.
It houses white pottery unearthed in Qianjiaping Site, Guiyang County, Neolithic age, 907 Western Jin bamboo slips and other treasures.
There are more than 1,000 cultural relics on display, including prehistoric white pottery from Qianjiaping, bamboo slips from Guiyang County in the Western Jin Dynasty, silk fabric from the Warring States Tomb of Guimenling.
