Lianxi Academy in Ailian Lake Scenic Area was renovated in 2022, with its decoration elements such as cornices and wood carvings full of characteristic southern Hunan architectural art. 

 

 

Among them, the first floor of the academy is themed around Zhou Dunyi, the founder of Neo Confucianism, and showcases the life of Zhou Dunyi and the origins of Neo Confucianism. 

 

 

The second floor showcases the cultural heritage of Chenzhou, and through the works of literati such as Qin Shaoyou and Xu Xiake, one can feel the charm of Chenzhou's landscape.

 

 

Chenzhou Museum is a national second-class museum, with a total area of about 12,000 square meters. The architectural design is inspired by the rich and diverse mineral crystals in Chenzhou.

 

 

It houses white pottery unearthed in Qianjiaping Site, Guiyang County, Neolithic age, 907 Western Jin bamboo slips and other treasures. 

 

 

There are more than 1,000 cultural relics on display, including prehistoric white pottery from Qianjiaping, bamboo slips from Guiyang County in the Western Jin Dynasty, silk fabric from the Warring States Tomb of Guimenling.

 

 

Among them, the wooden slips from the Western Jin Dynasty are one of the key collections.

 

 

 

 

Chenzhou Science and Technology Museum covers an area of about 11,000 square meters and is divided into three sections: nature, universe and human exploration. Each exhibit that can be seen, heard, and touched makes scientific knowledge accessible. 

 

 

 

It’s a paradise for children as it allows them to experience the charm of technology through interesting interactions.  

 

 

 

Space Travel Experience Museum has facilities such as astronaut clothing, sky station and lunar stroll. It provides a comprehensive immersive technology experience space, with four core theme areas and ten interactive experience projects. 

 

 

 

In the wind-tunnel flight experience project, participants can float in the air with the powerful upward airflow generated by the wind tunnel machine.
