Dukou Danxia Mountain in Dukou Township of Anren County, situated at the junction of Zhuzhou, Hengyang, and Chenzhou cities, is about 15 kilometers away from the county with convenient transportation. 

 

With unique tourism resources and the former site of the Xiangnan Special Committee, the Dukou Danxia Mountain Scenic Area began construction at the end of 2016, and formed a tourism pattern of enjoying cola flowers in spring, lotus flowers in summer, chrysanthemum flowers in autumn, and snow in winter. 

 

 

In January 2023, it was rated as a National 3A-level Scenic Area. In March 2023, it launched the 12th Anren County cola flower festival, attracting the attention of central and provincial media. At present, the scenic area receives over 300,000 annually.

 

Longhai Longji Mountain in Longhai Town of Anren County is known for its large-scale, clustered and contiguous Danxia landform. Legend has it that Shennong tasted hundreds of herbs here.

 

What’s more, Longhai Hot Spring has the conditions for development. Longhai Hot Spring, with the water temperature of 46 ℃ and a daily water output of 15,000 tons, has suitable temperature, large flow rate, good water quality, and high mineral content. The content of strontium and silicic acid meets the national mineral water standards.

 

 

Chengping Yuelun Rock in Chengping Township of Anren County is a natural cave. Seen outside the cave, there is a huge semi-circular rock across the mountain, shaped like a bridge or a half moon. Yuelun Rock is a comprehensive historical and cultural heritage that combines caves, temples, and steles. In 2022, it was awarded as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in Chenzhou. The temple built in the cave attracts many tourists for its deep Buddhist origin and the Danxia landform.
