On February 21, the first Longtaitou Folk Culture Festival was held in Longtan Town, Jiahe County.

The Longtaitou Festival (on the second day of the second lunar month), also known as the Spring Farming Festival or the Farming Festival, is a traditional Chinese folk festival. In farming culture, the “Longtaitou (Dragon-Head-raising)” indicates the growth of yang qi, the increase of rain and vitality of everything.
Since ancient times, people have also taken the Longtaitou Festival as a day to pray for good weather, to ward off evil spirits and disasters, and to receive good fortune.
You can soak up the charm unique to Longtan Town by watching a dragon dance performance, listening to an intangible cultural heritage wedding song, inheriting traditional Chinese culture, taking a trip to the sea of flowers, tasting intangible cultural heritage food or experiencing the wonderful world integrated by smart home and innovative ecological park.
