Qifengdu has adhered to the development strategy of building the “Xihe River Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt”, attached great importance to “new industrialization, new urbanization, agricultural industrialization, and ecological environmental protection” and won many honorary titles such as “National Key Town”, “Strong Agricultural Industry Town in Hunan Province” and “Top Ten Beautiful Villages and Towns in Chenzhou City”.

 

 

Rice noodles, fish and soybean oil are all produced locally. The thick red soup, fresh flesh of fish, soft and glutinous rice noodles as well as fragrant soybean oil constitute an excellent match on the taste buds, bursting with a strong local flavor, which has become a favorite of countless diners.

 

As the birthplace of Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles, Wazao Village introduced Chenzhou Fengchu Food Technology Co., Ltd., created the Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles inheritance base, and established a fish rice noodles industry chain integrating ingredient supply, brand image stores, instant noodles and fish soup rice noodles experience bases, in an effort to tap the brand effect of Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles.

 

The phase II processing plant of Fengchu Chuanqi Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles Industrial Park was put into production as scheduled, with an annual output value of over 100 million yuan. 

 

 

Qifengdu Town has integrated resources and maximized benefits. The Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles Association has been set up to gather planting and breeding farmers of tea oil, soybean oil, rice, chilies and fish, in a bid to establish a complete industrial chain from ingredients to sales and experience through a new industrialized cooperation mode of “company plus base plus cooperative plus farmer”.

 

The fish rice noodles ingredient production line has been set up to achieve standardized production. With regional advantages and cluster effects, Qifengdu Town has built a unique fish rice noodles street, receiving more than 10,000 diners every day.

 

Qifengdu has focused on the development of leisure vacation tourism involving cultural experience, homestays, farms, etc. Various characteristic fish rice noodles festivals were held, and fish rice noodles experience bases were established to promote the fish rice noodles throughout the country. Now more than 1,000 Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles stores are distributed in over 100 cities across the country. Qifengdu Fish Rice Noodles are being developed into a national star brand comparable to “Liuzhou Luosifen”.

 

 

The Xihe River Scenic Belt was rated as the “National Leisure Greenway”. Lianshan Manor was awarded the titles of a “National Five-star Rural Leisure Tourism Spot” and a “National Five-star Farm”. The “impression of 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares) lotus flowers” of Zhuangmen Village and Wazao Village has been included in the “Chenzhou Tourism Business Cards”. The ancient residences of Gangjiao, Zhujiawan and Zhengyuan villages were selected in the fifth batch of traditional Chinese village list by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. 

 

As a suitable place for short distance tourism, Qifengdu has integrated cultural tourism with agriculture, striving to create an urban garden.

 

 

Hetou Village has vigorously developed the leisure agricultural industry, introduced the Lianshan Manor project, and tried to build an original ecological leisure agricultural park that integrates ecological agriculture, comprehensive development of rural tourism, intensive processing and sales of green agricultural products as well as ecological wellness. Lianshan Manor attracted tourists in droves through the mode of “agricultural product sales plus rural tourism”.

 

Located in Gangjiao Village of Qifengdu Town, Gangjiao Wetland Park was converted from river islets and abandoned sand yards. Gangjiao Wetland Park is one of the Xihe River comprehensive improvement projects. The walking trails are connected by corridors and trestles. The ancient residences with black bricks and red tiles set off the sparkling Xihe River.

 

 

Taking the opportunity of building the Xihe River rural ecological sightseeing corridor, Qifengdu Town has worked hard to develop rural leisure and sightseeing, fruit and vegetables picking and folk culture tourism. It plans to carry out comprehensive service projects that integrate sightseeing, vacation and food. Five large-scale ecological leisure manors will be constructed, including Huahan Ecological Farm, Fengchu Fish Rice Noodles Inheritance Base and Guoziyuan Ecological Farm, aiming to build new tourism landmarks in Chenzhou City.
