1. Check before driving, including credentials and vehicle condition.
2. Don’t forget vehicle tools and take notice of warning signs on highway. A tow rope is necessary in case of multi-car travelling. You’d better have a walkie-talkie if possible.
3. The motorcade leader should be experienced in driving and familiar with road conditions so as to keep timely leadership of the following cars.
4. If possible, the last car driver should be experienced and moreover can handle emergency and keep contact with the first car.
5. Divide the team into several groups in case of too many members and place the maintenance car the last one. In case that something is wrong with a car, let the maintenance car deal with it and other cars should continue moving forward.
6. In case of long journey, too many car members or bad car conditions, it’s better to take emergency accessories. When choosing emergency accessories, one should have advice from someone with maintenance experience.
7. Keep the formation during the driving process. When stopping for a rest or meal, the first driver should choose a good parking place and give notice to the following cars.
8. Check every car when lodging and adjust the schedule and motorcade for the next day.
9. Every driver should adjust the driving speed according to his own situation to ensure safety and a nice self-driving travelling.
