Chenzhou government was awarded with organization award of“Ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo” by the State Ministry of Housing

Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of City Management and Administrative Law Enforcement and Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Parks and Woods won advanced group award and four people were awarded with advanced individual prize.

It was reported the closing ceremony of ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo was held on November 18, 2013. Chenzhou park won “silver award of complex award of outdoor parks”, “excellent award of architectural works”, and “excellent award of plant configuration”. Chenzhou government was awarded with organization award of“Ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo” by the State Ministry of Housing. Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of City Management and Administrative Law Enforcement and Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Parks and Woods won advanced group award and four people were awarded with advanced individual prize.

China International Garden Expo is the top level gardens and flowers expo organized by the State Ministry of Housing and local governments, and is also the largest international event held in China concerned for gardens and flowers. It is held every two years.

Currently, Chenzhou city is handling the establishment of “national garden city”. It was considered that it would be a good chance for Chenzhou city to show its achievements on the construction of garden nationwide, so Hunan Provincial Ministry of Housing recommended Chenzhou city to attend this expo. Chenzhou government placed more than 2 million yuan to build this Chenzhou park in Beijing Garden Expo park. With over one year efforts of the workers, Chenzhou park was finished in this May with the many unique and local features of Chenzhou city.

The ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo was open on May 18, 2013. Because of the good garden effects, Chenzhou park was highly praised by experts and judges. Chenzhou government seized this chance to promote Chenzhou city nationwide with better fame.
