Thanks to the sound weather condition in this May Day holiday, Chenzhou city’s scenic spots and country view spots attracted great amount of visitors. According to the statistic issued by Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs that over 0.42 million people visited Chenzhou city during this holiday with an increase of 25.28% and the comprehensive income of tourism was accounted for 259 million yuan with an increase of 31.52%.

Mount Mangshan National Forest Park, Dongjiang Lake, Longnv Hot Spring, Fuquan Villa, Mount Feitian National Geological Park and so on were the hottest tourism destinations for the visitors. Over ten thousand people visited Mount Mangshan landscape, Dongjiang Lake landscape, Suxianling, Wanhuayan, and etc.

Besides the landscape travelling, many citizens were fun of leisure tourism, which indicated a transformation trend for the travel market of Chenzhou city. Fishing, camping, mountainous exploration, countryside self-driving trip, cycling, drifting, aquatic fitness, and etc. were new leisure styles for many citizens.

Rural tourism was one of the key leisure funs for people. Xiaobu ancient villages of Beihu district, Bailang and Huangcao of Zixing city, Yangshan ancient villages and Qixiu villa of Guiyang county, Banliang ancient village of Yongxing county, Wangxianling and some other tourism spots attracted people to enjoy their folk, leisure, relax, country style and fresh air trips. Assisted with the sound ecological condition, colorful outdoor activities and various propagandas, Xiaobu ancient village of Beihu district became one of the favorite destinations for nationwide tourists.

Mountain climbing was also one of the favorite activities for people’s leisure tourism and Suxianling became the most favorite mountain for the climbers. At the meantime, many people chose to cycle around the city.

It was learned from the expressway administration office that 256,000 cars were driven from all the expressways of Chenhou city. 97,000 cars with less 7 seats were free from expressway charges during the three-day holiday, amounting to 4.91 million yuan.

According to the statistic, Leiyi expressway was the busiest one which undertook 156,000 cars. 13,000 cars were undertaken by Yanru expressway, 34,000 ones by Ruchen expressway, 30,000 ones by Chenning expressway and 21,000 ones by Guiwu expressway. All expressways were operated safety without serious traffic accidents and jam.
