During this period, nearly 100 mu of coreopsis in the estuarine wetland of Hangxi River, Xingning Town, Zixing City, are in blossom. The coreopsis stretched out and the soft branches fluttered with the wind, attracting many tourists to enjoy here.

The estuarine wetland of the Hangxi River is a subproject of the ecological environment protection and comprehensive utilization project of the Dongjiang Lake loaned by the ADB. Zixing City has implemented the restoration of the wetland of the beach and lakeside buffer zone, the management of the drainage zone around the entrance of the lake, the ecological slope protection, the restoration of bird habitat and fish feeding places, the creation of wetland habitat, and the construction of wetland propaganda and education facilities, which not only purified the water quality of the lake, effectively reduced the water and soil loss, but also improved the lakeside ecological environment.
