Blooming roses draw tourists

17 mu (about 1.13 hectares) of roses are blooming in the Rose Manor of Zhongtian Village, Sandu Town, Zixing City. Adjacent to the Rose Manor, there are ancient residences built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), which are a typical residential building in Southern Hunan. Tourists can not only enjoy the flowers but also visit the ancient dwellings.
In recent years, the local government has actively revitalized barren hills and idle land, planting cherry blossoms, roses, chrysanthemums, colorful cole flowers in non-basic farmland to develop rural tourism through flowers. While improving the popularity, it has also brought many economic benefits to the local people.
