Mangshan Mountain is known as the “gene bank of animals and plants” and is a natural oxygen bar. As the summer vacation arrives, the scenic area once again ushered in the peak of passenger flow after the epidemic. 

 

Many tourists come here with their families and friends to watch sunrise and sunset, observe summer waterfall, and breathe fresh air, enjoying the coolness and the happiness of being close to nature.

 

“The clean water and green mountains here are very well protected, the air is particularly fresh, and the stream is very clear. We get a complete relaxation for our body and mind,” said Mr. Fu, a Guangdong tourist, adding that he is usually busy at work, and so he wants to relax with his family when the kids are on holiday.

 

At present, there are 500 to 600 tourists daily in the rafting area, and more than 2,000 people on weekends. More than 30% of the tourists are school students.

 

 

In Yizhang, the cave is also popular for summer tours in the Mangshan Mountain Swallow Rock Scenic Area. Compared with the outdoor heat of more than 30 degrees, the coolness inside the cave makes tourists seem to leave summer behind. 

 

In order to cope with the peak of summer tourism, the scenic area has planned ahead and set up a marketing team to strengthen connection with the surrounding scenic spots and constantly put forth ideas. It raised nearly 10 million yuan to renovate and upgrade tourist facilities such as caves and homestays, and added attractions to enhance tourist experience. Then, the number of tourist arrivals reached a new high.

 

“In the summer vacation, the tourist flow of the scenic spot has grown rapidly, with hundreds of people every day. When it comes to Saturdays and Sundays, the number of tourists can reach around 2000, which is more than twice the usual. The tourist flow is expected to reach about 100,000 during this summer vacation,” said Zhong Shan, chairman of Yizhang Mangshan Mountain Yanmingjian Tourism Development Co., Ltd.
