“We have received 450,000 tourists so far this year, up more than 200 percent from last year,” said Zhao Huchen, deputy general manager of Chenzhou Gaoyi Ridge Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. Besides, Gaoyi Ridge ranked second on the list of “the 20 most favorite scenic areas in Hunan by tourists from the Greater Bay Area”, and its ticket revenue and reception number during the May Day this year both entered the top ten in Hunan province.

 

 

Now, entering the Gaoyi Ridge tourist area, you can see the bridge connecting the main scenic area and Cherry Blossom Garden, and the pontoon bridge on the lake are under construction. 

 

In order to welcome the second Hunan Tourism Development Conference, Gaoyi Ridge is focusing on optimizing tourism products, infrastructure and service quality. To this end, Gaoyi Ridge plans to invest 100 million yuan to build a visitor center, ecological parking lot, landscape bridge, youth station and so on. 

 

“All these major projects are scheduled to be put into use on August 15,” said Mr. Zhao, adding, “the flamingo campsite is also expected to be put into use by the end of August.”
