Tourists enjoy wonderful night tour at Gujun Town

During the National Day holiday, the Gujun Town in the Guiyang Cultural Park was teeming with tourists, wearing ancient clothes and enjoying a night tour.

The majestic Gujun Town was beautiful in the brilliant light. Colorful lights interwoven together, outlined the majestic wall against the night, and showed its profound history. The ancient and elegant town seemed to reproduce the splendid scenery of the ancient county amid thousands of lights. Tourists, with exquisite makeup and gorgeous Hanfu, enjoyed the beautiful night scene and immersed themselves in the ancient town.
 
“We made an appointment online before the National Day holiday, and it was a wonderful experience for us to wear Hanfu and take photos. The Hanfu costumes and makeup here are very beautiful. And I think it is very meaningful to show the beauty of Hanfu and pass on outstanding traditional culture.” This holiday, tourist Huang Xiaoyi and her friends came from Foshan, Guangdong Province to experience the clothing and makeup in Gujun Town.

Liu Zhijie, president of Guiyang Hanfu Association, introduced that there were many tourists coming to Gujun Town of Guiyang Cultural Park to experience Hanfu, and the reservation was full during the holiday.
 
“Tourists touring the ancient town in Hanfu not only restore the night scenes in ancient times, but also display the beauty of Han clothes and etiquette, which helps carry forward traditional culture, and strengthen cultural confidence. Now, more and more young people like wearing Hanfu.”
 
Gujun Town integrates history and fashion elements. In the newly built Gujun Amusement Park, projects such as “Flying High”, “Ferris Wheel”, “Big Pendulum” and “Roller Coaster” were favored by tourists. Gujun Night Market were full of characteristic snacks.
 
Besides, there were various kinds of goods in the Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Market. In bustling streets, visitors tasted food and enjoyed night scenes.
 
Guiyang has a history of more than 2,200 years since its establishment in Han Dynasty. In recent years, Guiyang Cultural Park, covering an area of 2,160 mu (144 hectares), with a construction area of 200,000 square meters, is the first cultural tourism park in Hunan Province with local history and culture as the theme, reproducing the majesty and prosperity of a “thousand-year old county”. 
 
Since the National Day holiday, Gujun Town has received more than 150,000 tourists, with an average of more than 20,000 visitors per day.
