Rime scenery appeared at the Wuzhi Peak Scenic Area in Mangshan Mountain for the first time this winter on December 16. The beautiful rime scenery brought it a small travel peak, with about 10,000 tourists received on December 17.
Wuzhi Peak is located in the north of the Nanling Mountains, which is the southernmost snow line in China. The cold air weakens here, sinking and being blocked by mountains. However, the warn and humid Pacific currents can easily cross the mountains, where cold and warm air meet. In addition, here is covered with vegetation, and it has the most complete preserved primitive forest at the same altitude on earth. Therefore, the high water vapor all year round makes it easy to form sea of clouds and rime.
Tourists have arrived at the scenic area early to enjoy this rare view. As soon as the park opened, the parking lot was already full of vehicles, and most tourists drove from Guangdong province.
“Although the journey is long, it’s very worthwhile seeing such a beautiful rime scenery.” Many tourists were overjoyed after seeing the snow scenery.
To ensure the safety of tourists during their travel, the scenic area has prepared anti-slip sand spots along the way, provided anti-slip facilities in necessary places, and staff conducted on-site guidance and safety publicity. The scenic area even made an announcement to restrict tourist flows on December 17.
