The Hangxi River Wetland Park, located in Hangxi Village, Xingning Town, Zixing City, is one of the key projects for ecological environment protection in Dongjiang Lake. 

 

 

In recent years, the city government, which adheres to the path of ecological priority and green development, has coordinated efforts to restore the wetlands in the beaches and by the lakeside, restore bird habitats and fish feeding grounds through ecological slope protection in the riparian zone, and build wetland education facilities. A total of 800 mu (about 53.33 hectares) of wetland habitat have been restored in the city.
