Mangshan Mountain in Chenzhou City was listed among the first batch of 14 world famous tourism mountains, according to the International Conference of Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports 2024 organized by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA) and held in Xingyi City of Guizhou Province on September 26.
Mangshan is located in Yizhang County, Chenzhou, with a total area of 33.4 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of 99.6%. It has mild climate, abundant rainfall and a wide variety of forest vegetation.
As the first barrier-free mountain attraction in China, Mangshan Wuzhifeng Scenic Area continues to promote the deep integration of accessible facilities with its natural environment.
Such facilities as cableways, escalators and cliff sightseeing elevators are available at altitudes of 1,400 to 1,600 meters, allowing tourists to enjoy the mountain with ease.
