According to the modeling of mobile signaling data on the Hunan Smart Culture and Tourism Platform, Chenzhou City received a total of 3.248 million tourists during the 7-day National Day holiday, an increase of 20.36% compared to last year’s National Day holiday.

 

Among them, there were 846,600 overnight tourists and 1.4516 million tourists from other provinces, accounting for 26% and 44.69% respectively, with the average length of stay for tourists being 2.391 days.

 

According to calculations, the total expenditure of tourists in the city reached 2.827 billion yuan during the 7-day National Day holiday, an increase of 16.4% compared to last year’s National Day holiday.

 

The 46 cultural and tourism units monitored by the Hunan Provincial Cultural and Tourism Statistics Platform welcomed 2.919 million visitors during the holiday, up 16.75% year on year. Among them, 26 A-level tourist attractions had 2.2716 million tourist arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 14.65%. 13 museums, libraries, and cultural centers monitored welcomed 94,500 visitors, an increase of 11.05% year on year. 

 

Among them, Guiyang County Cultural Center ranked among the top ten in Hunan in terms of the cumulative number of visitors. The 32 accommodation units monitored received 49,700 tourists, with a revenue of 23.3847 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 28.01%. The cumulative occupancy rate of the rooms in the monitored accommodation units was 89.73%.
