Special dishes like bamboo-tube-cooked rice, glutinous rice cake with fern roots, river fish are served on the table assembled from door sheets. Yao men and girls sing a cheerful toast song and interact with tourists, and the cave restaurant is full of laughter. 

 

In the past, local Yao people would take down their own door sheets and assemble them together for dining to celebrate major festivals. The door sheet banquet is set up in a cave of the Mangshan Mountain Yanziyan Scenic Area, making this traditional Yao custom even more mysterious to enhance the tourist experience. 

 

 

After the banquet, tourists can bring big red eggs, which symbolize good wishes, to enjoy the colorful cave landscape, experience rainbow slides, high-altitude bicycles and other amusement projects, attend the rural bonfire party, and admire beautiful rural natural scenery.

 

The Mangshan Mountain Yanziyan Scenic Area showcases local specialties and natural landscapes through a door sheet banquet. At the same time, Yanlaiju Homestay Inn was also built to enrich their travel experience.
