At the Mangshan Forest Hot Spring Hotel in Yizhang, an infinity cliff hot spring pool  built at an altitude of 520 meters allows tourists to relax themselves. Each unique hot spring pool is nestled in the mountain forests. 

 

 

Streamers set their phones up by the pool to live stream the natural beauty in winter. Tourists from all over the country come here with their families and friends. 

 

The hot spring water of Mangshan Forest Hot Spring Hotel comes from about 600 meters below the ground, with a temperature of up to 55.5 degrees Celsius. There are more than 60 pools with different functions. 

 

In addition, it is less than one kilometer away from the Mangshan Mountain Scenic Area, and many tourists who are tired after mountain hiking will come here to soak in hot springs.

 

 

With the arrival of the peak season for winter hot spring tourism, the hotel receives 800 visitors per day and over 400 rooms are occupied. 

 

“Through our early market development, apart from tourists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, we have also expanded markets in Jiangxi, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places this year. Compared with the same period last year, our booking volumes increased by 20% in November.” Yuan Dapeng, deputy general manager of the hotel added that with the increase in orders, the hotel would join hands with the surrounding Yanziyan Scenic Area to launch themed activities to further enrich tourists’ travel experience. 

 

In recent years, the county government has fully utilized its abundant geothermal resources and focused on building a characteristic tourism brand integrating hot spring plus wellness, then to boost the hot spring tourism market.

 

From January to October, over 130 hot spring reception venues in Yizhang county received over 630,000 tourists, and achieved a comprehensive tourism revenue of about 800 million yuan.
