Zhou Hailin, Vice Mayor of Chenzhou Municipal government, announced the opening of "2020 Chenzhou (Dongjiang Lake) Tsingtao Beer Festival", and the guests jointly opened the "2020 Chenzhou (Dongjiang) Tsingtao Beer Festival".

On September 12, 2020 Chenzhou (Dongjiang Lake) Tsingtao Beer Festival opened at Dongjiang Cultural Square in Zixing City, and the six-day carnival party officially opened.

On the opening night of the event, Tsingtao Beer (Chenzhou) Company, Chenzhou City and Zixing City jointly extended a cordial invitation to the people of the whole country. Tens of thousands of tourists and citizens joined in the scene to toast the motherland and enjoy the passionate time of drinking. In the subsequent artistic performances, the singers' infectious voices and the dancers' passionate and cheerful dancing movements ignited the whole passion, and the fast drinking competition pushed the scene atmosphere to a climax.

It was reported that the beer festival will last until September 17 with the theme of "Cheering Together in Chenzhou and Drinking for the Dongjiang Lake". The purpose of the activities is to integrate the three core culture lines of food, music and beer, and build a large stage to display corporate culture, smooth production and marketing channels, and to establish a bridge of friendship.

The exhibition area of famous and high-quality agricultural products was specially set up at the activity site. The featured delicacies of 11 counties and cities in Chenzhou, such as Dongjiang Fish, Chonglingjiang Fish, alpine grass carp, Mangshan Qingshui fish, and Rucheng chopped pepper fish head, gathered in Dongjiang Cultural Square. The organizers comprehensively promoted the public welfare action of helping agriculture by means of live broadcasting and on-site sales.

This activity is another important measure for the city to further activate the night economy and boost consumer confidence relying on local characteristics.

At the same time, under the premise of strict protection, the city has fully exploited water elements, made water sustainable development, and vigorously developed ecological cultivation, ecological tourism, ecological food and other water related industries.

In 2000, Qingdao Tsingta (Chenzhou) Co., Ltd. settled in Zixing City because of the good water of Dongjiang Lake. In 2019, the company invested in the construction of 80000 tons of cans, soda water production line and beer culture experience center. Over the past 20 years, the company's production scale has been continuously expanded, the product mix has been continuously optimized, and the market share and brand reputation have been improved year by year. This is the vivid embodiment of Zixing City's practice of the concept of " Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", doing a good job in water, invigorating water economy, and promoting innovation and demonstration of sustainable development.
