Reporters visited Jiyi town, Rucheng county on November 2, 2013 and founded that the new passenger station had been opened to public. It was introduced that this new station was invested with 1.6 million yuan, which is capable to provide the public bus service to most of the towns around of Jiyi town.

It was learned that till now, 68.76 million yuan has been collected by Jiyi town, Rucheng county on the construction of well-being projects. Focusing on the key issues concerned for people’s daily life, Jiyi town government integrated the well-being projects funds from different departments to handle the construction. Some key projects as Jilong passenger station, Yijiang river treatment, upgrading of rural power grid, Liucun village road, Tanji village road, comprehensive construction of Jilong school, and other projects were invested with 1.60 million yuan, 19.50 million yuan, 24 million yuan, 12.60 million yuan, 4.86 million yuan, 6.20 million yuan, etc. separately.

With the sound implementation of all the projects, not just people’s living condition was improved greatly, the society was kept stable with upgrading government credit as well. Jiyi town was awarded as “2009-2012 Hunan provincial advanced unit on comprehensive treatment of social management”. Jiyi town was the only one from Rucheng county, which won such kind of title.
