It was reported that scheduling conference for safety production work was held in Chenzhou city on November 25, 2013. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the conference and emphasized that all departments should conscientiously study and implement the important instructions of safety production listed by General Secretary Xi, should fulfill all the targets of safety production and ensure the sustainable improvement of safety production.

Since the beginning of this year, some special actions on the regulation of illegal production and operation have been carried out by Chenzhou city and reached good effects. According to the data, Chenzhou city’s production safety accidents decreased by 38.1% from January to November. However, the total accidents amount of key industries kept in a high level and the safety problems on non-coal mines, ownerless tailings, gobs, fire control of crowded areas, construction sites, etc. were still under grim situations.

After listening to the speeches delivered by principals of relative departments, Xiang stated that all departments should conscientiously study and implement the important instructions of safety production listed by General Secretary Xi to carry out the safety production actions on the basis of Chenzhou city’s practical condition. It was the key period for fulfilling all annual tasks in the end of the year, so all the departments should pay much more attention on safety production condition than ever before.

Xiang pointed out that further mobilization and deployment work should be handled out by relative departments to enhance the force on the safety production issues, especially on key periods, key industries, key areas, key units and key objects. Stricter leadership mechanism, more forceful punishment of illegal behaviors, and more enhanced supervision and TV administration should be implemented to upgrade the effects of safety production.

Xiang emphasized that all departments should try their best to ensure the sustainable improvement of safety production of Chenzhou city. Enhanced emergency mechanism, bottom-line thinking, punishment system and strength should be placed on the production safety issues on this special period.
