When reporters arrived at the construction site of Rucheng section of Yanru expressway, the workers were busy in accelerating the construction of the project.

It was introduced by the principal of one of the expressway’s section that both the local government and people here cooperated the construction well which highly ensured the progress of works.

Yanru expressway was a part of one portrait expressway (Yueru expressway) of Hunan provincial expressways network, which was a new key channel for the connection with Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macau once finished. There were one service center and three exits set in Yanru expressway.

Xiarong expressway which was finished and opened to public last year greatly helped to improve the development of Rucheng county. More tourists came to Rucheng county for its more convenient transportation. As shown from the construction drawings of the project department, Yanru expressway and Xiarong expressway formed as a great cross for the expressway network of Rucheng county. 19 villages of Rucheng county with 7 exits were covered in the two expressways. Rucheng county was improved as an important transportation junction in the interprovincial areas of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi province.

“People’s life was gradually changed by the expressways. Now, it is feasible to drive to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, even Xiamen, Guilin, and Chengdu and come back to Guidong and Rucheng county within one day, which was unbelievable in earlier days.” said the principal of the project.

It was also introduced by the principal that Guidong section of Yanru expressway was also under schedule and can be finished on time. Rucheng section of Yanru expressway was started from January, 2010 and was expected to be finished and opened to public at the end of this year.
