The second conference for Chenzhou transportation construction working leadership was held recently

In the afternoon of June 25, 2013, the second conference for Chenzhou transportation construction working leadership was held in Chenzhou city. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee stressed that another 120 days plan of transportation construction should be forcefully promoted to ensure all the annual tasks can be fulfilled or over-fulfilled. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted the conference.

It was the crucial year for the transportation construction of Chenzhou city. As of June 24, 4.18 billion yuan investment on transportation construction has been finished, up 9.58%; 1.42 billion yuan on expressway, down 43.3%; 1.11 billion yuan on main roads, up 311.1%, accounting to 41.9% of the annual year target; and 263 million yuan on village roads. Except some controlled projects of Yanru expressway, the subgrade construction work has been finished. Concerning for the first project of 2013 Chenzhou transportation construction- Chenyong avenue, all the subgrade construction work has been completed yet with about 1.16 billion yuan investment, accounting to 71.3% of the total budget.

The key discussion issues for the conference were summary for the transportation construction work in the first half year, concentrate scheduling for the problems on the process of the construction, and the declaration of principal of relative departments to solve the problems accordingly.

After carefully listening to the speeches delivered by relative departments, Xiang stated that another 120 days plan of transportation construction should be forcefully promoted to ensure all the annual tasks can be fulfilled or over-fulfilled.

Xiang pointed out that transportation construction should be forcefully promoted with scientific road network plan, upgraded project partnering, expanded financing platforms, settlement of some narrow neck problems, further retreatment of construction condition, and etc..

Xiang also said further work should be placed on the maintenance of roads, transportation management, planning and development on main roads, and so on.

Qu Hai mentioned that it was the golden season for transportation construction, all the relative departments should try to improve themselves by summarizing the achievements and finding out weakness. No matter reconstruction projects, new projects or proposed projects should be forcefully promoted to make sure all the annual tasks can be fulfilled or over-fulfilled.

Qu required that more attentions should be paid on the following points as well: more specified responsibility mechanism, implementation of working measures with better working style, and upgrading construction condition.

Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city and principals of relative departments attended the conference.
