Construction site of Chenyong avenue

When reporters arrived at the construction site of Chenyong avenue, workers were busying in the construction. In order to make sure Chenyong avenue can be finished on time with good quality, the staffs of Chenzhou transportation departments worked on construction site to supervise the progress of the project.

Huang Chuqing- chief engineer of Suxian Transportation Bureau who was in charge of the engineering work of Suxian section, Chenyong avenue often slept in the construction headquarters to make sure he can handle all the issues of the project on time.

Thanks to all the staffs’ hardworking, the project of Chenyong avenue was promoted under schedule. Pavement, bed course, bridge and other detailed engineering work were handled out fluently.

It was learned from Zhou Fanping- Secretary of Party Group and Director of Chenzhou Transportation Bureau that a “frontline working style” was implemented in the bureau with specified connection mechanism of projects to carry out the transportation construction projects. Labor competitions were held to supervise the progress the projects accordingly.

Thanks to their hardworking on the promotion of transportation projects, 4.186 billion yuan investment has been placed on it with an increase of 9.58%, ranking the top place of Hunan province. On the other hand, the quality issues were controlled well to grant a sound foundation of fulfillment for all the annual targets set in the beginning of this year.

All expressways projects were handled out well under plan, such as Yanru expressway was on the pavement construction phase, Leiyi section of Yuegangao expressway was under upgrading construction, some other expressways were under preliminary preparation work and investment attraction stage, etc..

Besides the expressways, arterial highways projects were promoted well. 1.11billion yuan has been placed on the 26 projects with an increase of 840 million yuan. All the projects were under different progress, some of them have been finished, some were on roadbed construction, some were past the design approval, etc.. At the meantime, 443.9kms rural roads were almost finished, covering 88.1% of the total provincial annual task.

It was learned that Chenzhou Transportation Bureau carried out “four-oriented department” project to improve their work on the transportation construction of Chenzhou city from the beginning of this year. With all staffs’ efforts and sound implementation of the project, great achievements were gained on the transportation construction, which greatly helped to support the take-off of Chenzhou city.
