It was learned that to implement the spirit of Chenzhou city’s three-year greening project conference and Rucheng county’s forestry ecological construction conference, Tianzhuang town’s party committee and government paid great attention on the ecological forestry construction. Enhanced propaganda, measures and investment were placed on the construction issues to make sure all the targets of “ecological Rucheng - greening project”set by Rucheng county’s party committee and government to be fulfilled comprehensively.

First, greening projects for demonstration town construction. 8 million yuan was planned to be invested on the project to carry out follow work: three new public gardens’construction, greening work for four courtyards as town’s government, school, credit cooperative, and hospital, 1km long scenic belt along the river of Tianzhuang, 600meters long high level greening for Tianzhuang avenue, 22600pcs of seedlings planting, and 13,200 square meters greening area.

1. Public garden: 3.2 million yuan has been placed for the construction of three public gardens with more 10mu areas of each. The three gardens were selected to be established on the cross of Tianzhuang road, gate of Tianzhuang town’s government and the north gate of new market. More than twelve thousands of different plants would be planted in the parks. Besides those, 4,500 square meters grass sods and some other accessories would be facilitated there accordingly. This project was launched on this February 20, and has been finished before this June.

2. greening work for courtyards. 0.8 million yuan has been placed on the fulfillment of four courtyards construction as town’s government, school, credit cooperative, and hospital. This project had been finished in the end of last December. Different species of plants were planted on the courtyards accordingly.

3. 600meters long high level greening for Tianzhuang avenue: this project cost about 0.2 million yuan. It was mainly placed on the planting of 300 yellow cinnamon roots with 13cm or bigger diameter. It was launched on last November 2, and finished within 10 days.

4. 1km long scenic belt along the river of Tianzhuang: the project was amounted with 1.5 million yuan investment to plant different trees and some grass sobs along the banks of rivers of Tianzhuang town. It has been fulfilled before the end of this March.

5. Cultural square and parking slot project: 2.4 million yuan has been placed on the construction of a cultural square covering with 3200 square meters and a parking slot covering with 1500 square meters. Some plants and grass sobs were planted there as well. The project has been fulfilled this late July.

Second, greening projects for water system and key afforestation project. 8 million yuan has been finished on 450mu afforestation work on Yueru expressway and 106 national road and 5200mu mountain reforestation work. At the meantime, more attention was placed on the greening project of water system of Tianzhuang town, covering 8 villages of Tianzhuang town. The total investment for this project was 2.7 million yuan which was mainly placed on the 28.5kms long greening belt construction. It was learned that 0.7 million yuan was placed on the first phase project of 6km long high level water system greening work in last March. This April, 2 million yuan more was invested on its second phase of 22.5kms long water system greening work. Thanks for the implementation of this project, water loss and soil erosion situation was eased in Tianzhuang town and a new and high level greening gallery was granted for the town.
