It’s now the harvest season of chili peppers. Batches of chili peppers are processed in Rucheng Fanhua Food Company and then sent to all parts of the country. 

 

 

Rucheng Fanhua Food Company is a national key leading enterprise engaged in the development of the whole industrial chain of chili pepper in agricultural industrialization. 

 

 

The company has developed 132 products in 4 series such as chili sauce, chopped chili pepper, pickled pepper, and mixed meals, with 32 national product patents. It has established cooperation with 105 enterprises such as Zkungfu and Wuqiong Food for the supply of raw materials, and achieved the marketing output value of 1.635 billion yuan in 2023.

 

 

It has been successively approved as a national high-tech enterprise, a “vegetable basket” production base for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and an authorized enterprise for “Xiangjiangyuan” and “Xiangganhong” regional public brands. For many years, as a provincial-level leading enterprise in the production, processing, and sales of chili products, the company has taken measures such as providing chili seedlings, conducting technical training, promoting planting techniques, and implementing strict quality standards to lead and drive farmers to develop the chili industry. 

 

 

Nowadays, in addition to consolidating and developing planting bases in the county, the company has also planted over 400,000 mu (26,666.67 hectares) of different chilli varieties such as Yanhong chili and Capsicum frutescens in Shandong, Yunnan, Gansu and other places.

 

To improve the production capacity, since 2020, the company has invested 200 million yuan in an automated intelligent production line in Rucheng Economic Development Zone. 

 

After the project is put into operation, it can process 500,000 tons of chili peppers, with the annual fresh-keeping storage capacity of 100,000 tons. It can create over 30,000 job opportunities for villagers. 

 

 

At present, mechanical equipment debugging is underway, and the automated intelligent production line will go into full production in a month.

 

“This project helps reduce labor and material costs, improve efficiency, increase production capacity by 10 times, and enhance the confidence of the industry to enrich the people,” said Zhu Shuqing, general manager of the company, who has full confidence in the future development of the company.
